Charlie Hirsch Bio

Originally from Los Angeles but living in Chicago since 2010, Charlie spent much of the last decade pursuing a career as an actor. His work included roles in TV and film, most notably The Office on NBC and feature films Prom Night and The Lincoln Lawyer. But in the spring of 2011 he shifted his attention to music when he was hired to write and record “Beaten Up and Broken Down” for the independent film Least Among Saints. The success of the song led him into the studio to record and release his debut album NEW AGAIN in the fall of 2013. He performed one of it’s songs, “Find Your Way Back Home”, on the nationally televised Homeward Bound Telethon hosted by Alan Alda and Joe Mantegna, and was also part of the lineup at both Lollapalooza in 2014 and Summerfest in 2015. He continues to perform in and around the city of Chicago and plans to head back in to the studio in early 2017 to record and release his sophomore album.
