Biography

Old Hundred will be releasing our third full-length album in the spring of 2014. We play "artful folk-rock – combining the wistful grace of Wilco, the snappy forward motion of Spoon, and the lilting harmonies of Fleet Foxes". We're influenced by grunge, folk, and Americana. Paste Magazine’s listed us as one of the “10 Ohio Bands You Should Listen to Now”. Columbus Underground voted us the “Best Band in Columbus” in 2010. We have performed around the midwest, including Nelsonville Music Festival, Midpoint Music Festival, and CD102.5 Summerfest. We've also opened for Cake, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Phosphorescent, Horse Feathers, Mumford and Sons, Dawes, and more (seriously). We released an untitled EP in 2009 ("best local-folk album" by Columbus Alive), a self-titled LP in November of 2010 (Wide-Eyed-Records), and our sophomore full-length ‘Time in the Wild’ (Wide-Eyed-Records) in 2012.
